Hi all ,

Now I'm working for our web site interfaces so I'm going to use joomla for that. I created prototype using joomla ,It's very simple and user friendly so we can create nice web solution for our client. If you want to know about joomla you can follow these link and can get brief idea about joomla.

Prototype for our website

I create some Prototype for our e-mentoring system using joomla. Joomla is very good RAD tool and we can easily manage it because joomla is a Content Management System (CSM). I attach small video and picture of our propose e-mentoring system that i create ,you can give ideas about that. Please note that this not a exact system that we are going to build. This is only a experiment for our future works. Also when we creating a web site we should select good domain name and good hosting place for our site these are very expensive but some companies freely provide.So I get a free domain name for our this blog so you can visit this blog using this URL.ictgroup13.tk this.TK also CC.CO domain names are freely available. Our New works

Now we are on software Requirement Specification phase. We hope that we are doing that part properly. Now we are designing the User interface of our System also. Because that is very important in a web-based system that means Interface should be user friendliness. Last week we discussed about our System features with our supervisor Miss.Lasanthi De Silva. We got some main idea from the discussion. And also there was some correction in our report that was corrected by her.

Then we also discuss with our client Dr. Prasad Wimalarathna. He satisfied with our system features. And also gave some idea about report writing format. We will take more effort to build our System perfectly and also hope that we will achieve our group goal.

Feasibility Analysis

Our first task we complete very well. we are happy about that our next task was doing feasibility analysis for our system. In this case we meet again and we get time to meet our client Dr.prasad .In this meeting Dr.prasad told us that he want another system to enhance IQ skill of University students.We create our project proposal only for e-mentoring system but Dr.prasad told us that's not a problem we can add this system to feasibility analysis and continue it. He gave us every information and guidance to us so this become a easy for us. So then we include new system to our project named it as IQ skill enhance System and we analyse requirement for that .First of all we done feasibility analysis for both system and create draft feasibility report then we create system solution for both systems. In this case we create alternative solution for both system and according to feasibility analysis we suggest a systems to our client. All these work we done under guidance by our supervisor.

Then we Identify and confirm our all the requirement and create fully usecase diagram with usecase narratives.Finally we create feasibility analysis report and submit it before deadline.

Project proposal

Our very first task was a project proposal so we work for that. We meet again and discuss about our project and how archive this goal. project proposal was not a big task because Our supervisor and lecture both gave grate help for us.so we mainly identify what are the requirement that our client was expect. So we create a usecase diagram for that because useacse diagram clearly shows what are the actors that system have and what are the functional requirement in the system. But our supervisor told us that technical stuff is not good for the project proposal because project proposal mainly use non-technical people like Manager or Director of the company. This advice gave clear vision to us about people who dealing with us. Then we create our project proposal very clearly and simple way. We change our usecase diagram as simple overall picture of the system. Here I attach our project proposal you can download it.

First meeting with Client (02/09/209)

This Day Dr.Wijesinghe handed over the project relevant to the SAD project.And she further advised us to get more information from Dr.Prasad .So in the very next day ,all the members of our group visited Dr.Prasad with the aim of obtaining information regarding our project.
At Dr.Prasad's place we were supplied with valuable information about Career Guidance Unit(CGU) and got idea about our objectives.And he advised to meet the people at CGU for further information.Then we decided to meet them at the same day and Dr.Prasad prepared every thing we need.Actually he is a great strength to us, to push our aims forward.The first appointment with the client was so pleasant and it was successful.As we were expected here ,we clearly understand that our goal should be developing a web base mentoring system.

At the CGU,we meat the Mr. Ajith Jayawardhana.he was introduced to us by Dr.Prasad. after that we had a deep discussion .It was quite pleasant when sharing ideas with him. Finally they provided library facilities to get relevant information.We ended the discussion with a great pleasure. that because we were fully satisfied with regarding our client and project.
At the end of the day, we discussed about our gathered information and about our future tasks. Our very first short term goal was submitting Project proposal. So we shared our tasks as individuals .We decided to find out information further personally not as a group as an effective manner.Later we dismissed with the hope of next meeting.
